Product Overview

The QAMnet DMLT-1550-ER series laser transmitters are reliable and cost-effective for HFC, RFoG, FTTH and deep fiber applications. Using a dispersion compensated analog 1550 nm DFB laser module and an advanced pre-distortion RF drive circuit, DMLT-1550 transmitters deliver 50 dB of CNR and yet maintain high levels of CSO and CTB distortion.

The transmission range of the DMLT-1550-ER series is 20 km. Since the wavelength is 1550 nm, the DMLT-1550-ER can be easily amplified by any EDFA. The DMLT-1550 can be used for transmitting up to 77 NTSC analog channels. Designed to be digitally ready, it can also be loaded with 60 additional QAM modulated signal channels. The laser output level can be selected from +6 dBm to +10 dBm.
